Risk:
Data layers require manipulation prior to loading into the Hectares BC database.
Impact:
Data loading is delayed.
Mitigation Strategy:
The Project schedule indicates that Provincial Inventories will be addresses in March 2008. Given that the project end date is June 28, 2008 this has the potential to have a significant impact. List of data layers should be finalized prior to the provincial summaries being integrated into the database. Each layer selected should have a data custodian, who should be responsible for manipulating the data (spatial or metadata) if needed. Many scripts have already been developed to process data layers.
