- Slope, Aspect, Elevation
- VRI
- Parks & Protected Areas
- Climate Data
- Generic Land Use Classification
* Complete Summary Tab (Login not required functionality)
* Add predetermined query functionality (infrastructure) to land characterization & summary tab
* Complete & document performance testing for Show me Where tab
* Bug and enhancement link to application
* Allowing external users to use the system
* Ability to allow metadata editing (by data owners)
Sprint Review #6
[-Jan 15 to Feb 11-]
Goals
* Login Completed
* Gather and process more data
* VRI Data Completed
* Save and View Saved Summaries
* Save and View Saved LC
* View Precanned LC
* Implement Dynamically Loaded Tabs - for performance reasons
Enhancements not yet complete
* Limit Number of search results
* Full name when exporting summaries
* The refresh map button should be grayed out when the query is invalid
* Scale Bar on maps
* Separate the erase and save buttons
* Move the update map button to the top and change the icon to a green play arrow
* May want to move brackets to the left side of the green and red query lights
* Add 'request a data layer' link off the application
* Show Coordinates in LatLong?
Misc
Outstanding Questions
* Q: BEC title in application (may be incorrect)? A: Write out BEC in full and make comments in the Metadata that it does not include site series
* Q: Ecoregions title (maybe in incorrect)? A: Emily addressed this last sprint
* Q: Wetlands / Lakes / Double line Rivers / Glaciers and a few other such layers were previously taken from the Trim EBM. Should that remain the source or are we interested in pursuing CWB as the source? Malcolm suggests we use CWB. A: Use CWB
* Q: Streams - from TRIM or CWB? A: Use CWB
* Q: Watersheds - What version of watersheds should we use? Malcolm suggested that we wait until Fundamental Watersheds are complete (due in Spring). Matt: I would think we would use the same version of watersheds used for the biodiversity work but check with Art. A: Use 1:20k watersheds for now; in the future we can add 3rd order watersheds as well.
* Q: Attribute for UWR (Ungulate Winter Range) data. A: use none - it will be presence absence
Data Layers
* Dave Nicholson (NatureServe? Ecoregions, EAU)
* Adrian Walton (Mountain Pine Beetle - Area of kill, Area of infestation, Frost Free Days, Heat Index)
* Malcolm Gray (Topography, Wetlands, Glaciers, Road and other linear features)
* Tim Salkeld (THLB, Ownership - Provincial/Federal/Private, Forest Harvesting, Natural Disturbance, Administrative Units, Mgmt Designations and Tenures - coast and interior, Fire hazard, Crown Forest Land base(not ready yet))
- VRI data questions (Talk after the meeting?):
- How should the volume attribute be computed (volume_per_ha attribute?)?
- Age - Which age attribute, age_1 or age_2, or combination of both should be used?
- Height - Which height attribute, height_1 or height_2, or combination of both should be used?
- Is there a standard for "height class" classification (similar to age class)?
- Is the typegrp_no attribute equivalent to the inventory_type_group-num?
* Greg Lawrance
* Al Becker (Mineral potential, Agricultural Potential)
* Matt Austin (Population Density, Household income, WHAs, UWR, Fisheries Sensitive Watersheds, IBA, Karst, Hotsprings, Species Alien and Native - distribution and Habitat Capability/Suitability, Biodiversity Analysis, Water, Grazing and Haycutting, Conservation Lands, Parks and Protected Areas Grasslands, National Ecozones)
New wiki
* Q: Accessing Wiki (access to all?). A: Matt says that there are no problems with this, keep it open for now.
