Sprint 3 - Yellow

1. Start with Review of Sprint2 Functionality:

   • Highlight size, look, and button locations.
2. Move to Sprint Functionality:
   • http://turtle:8080/habc-sprint3/HaBC.html
3. Size/buttons
   • Highlight new 1024*768 compliant size
   • Highlight new buttons, locations and size. Mention the export buttons.
4. Resolution
   • Highlight the new resolution tag. (Request from Adrian)
   • Basically, 1 dot is x hectares.
   • Zoom in and show it change.
   • We'll come back to it when there's data.
5. Query Validation
   • Draw attention to the query validation lights.
   • Query should be valid because it's empty.
6. Metadata
   • Highlight metadata box. Click on any of the top layers and show an example of data shown.
   • Mention collection technique: having data custodians fill out a metadata template.
   • Point out that we do not have metadata for entire tree elements.
7. Search window
   • Search for fraser and show results.
   • Search for fraserriver and show results.
   • Explain why there are differences.
   • Drag Fraserriver both items to the definition box.
   • Explain why fraserriver appears twice.
   • Zoom to southern BC to show the fraserriver in higher detail.
   • Talk about resolution
8. Definition box
   • Not the fraserriver alone, and just show that as a possible query.
   • Add initial brackets, highlight Query validation error.
   • Move brackets to appropriate locations and show the validation working.
   • Add some more layers through searching to show the definition box with bracketing, highlighting and indentation.
