Drag and Drop Upgrade

  • Open Land Characterization Tab
    • Drag and Drop some layers onto the definition window.
    • Explain how the updated code and solved many of the previous drag and drop issues
  • Outstanding IE 6 Crashing Issue?

Dynamic Tabs

  • Explain how the tabs at the top are only loaded once the user view them.
    • Refresh the application, click on one of the tabs and show it loading
  • Talk about addition of the logo in the upper right & the login function.

Login and Logout

  • Click the login link.
    • Enter valid login id
    • Show how current name appears in the upper left and how 'login' turned to 'logout'
  • Logout
  • Click on the login link
    • Click on the 'new account' button.
    • Explain how email is the only required field.
    • Create a new account and click ok. Confirmation is displayed and you are logged in.
  • Logout
  • Open Land Characterization Tab and click on the saved lc drop down list.
  • Click on "Login to See Queries" item
  • Enter valid login.
  • Open saved lc drop down list and select one of the queries.
  • Run the query.
  • Open the Summary Tab and click on the saved summary drop down list.
    • This list is already populated because we are already logged it.
  • Select a query and run it.

Saving Summaries

  • Refresh the application; explain how you are automatically logged out when you refesh the applications.
  • Open the Summary Tab
  • Create a summary query.
  • Click the Save Button. Explain about the prompt for login and enter valid login.
  • Explain how on save you will see 'Saved OK' in status area.
  • Open drop down list and show the query in the list.
  • Modify the query; and click the save button.
  • Talk about the prompt for overwrite or save as new.
  • Click "Save as New"; and then open drop down list and show how there are two queries.
  • Change the title and click the save button. This time select "Overwrite" and open the drop down list and show that the query hast been overwritten.
  • Click the clear button.
  • Create a new query and click save. Explain how there is no overwrite option because you cleared the query area.

Precanned Land Characterizations

  • Open LC Tab
  • Click on the drop down list and scroll to the public queries area.
  • Select one of the public queries.
  • Run the query.

Saving Land Characterizations

  • Open the LC Tab
  • Create a lc query.
  • Click the Save Button.
  • Explain how on save you will see 'Saved OK' in status area.
  • Open drop down list and show the query in the list.
  • Modify the query; and click the save button.

Land Characterizations 'x' To Remove

  • Select an lc query.
  • Explain how we have added the 'x' to allow you to remove items; drag in brackets and explain how they are on the brackets as well.
  • Search results are currently limited to 'x' numbers to allow for reasonable performance.
  • You will be notified if you reach the limit
